New Loves

Hey there - Yeah yeah yeah, I know. I'm the worst blogger ever. I'll say one word to explain why I've been slacking...life. So that's that.

Last week I had the opportunity to go to my first Twins game of the season at their new home...Target Field. Yep, pretty much everything in MN is connected to Target in some way. However, the field is nothing to do with red and khaki and everything to do with loving Twins baseball. I was SO excited to go, and even more excited once I got there. It is such an amazing place to watch outdoor baseball. I'm waiting impatiently for the 16th of June when I get to go back!!!

I've also recently been learning to use my new photo software...Adobe Lightroom. I'm really excited about being able to organize my pictures more efficiently and having simple ways to develop pictures without having to use photoshop, which can get overwhelming. To combine my two recent loves, here are a couple of pictures from my trip to Target Field that I've adjusted. Hope you enjoy...and feel free to leave criticism too!

Peace, Love, and Hope-

More Reminiscing

Alright, I admit that I've been lazy and haven't gotten much else done for my new endeavor of putting myself out there and trying to make my hobbies a bit lucrative. So, another post of a favorite old page. Again, this is my (big) little brother. He loves the camera, so i always have some good pics to work with from him. This is the CosmoCricket line Mr. Campy. STILL one of my all-time favorites for down-to-earth, neutral-ish colors. I'm going to try my best to hunker down and get some stuff done this weekend. Hopefully I'll have some product to post or cute pages to display next week. After some fun with some friends first, though. Cuz that's way more important than making money :)

Beginnings

Hello! I'm getting this blog off the ground with a post of one of my favorite old pages that I've done. It's pics of my brother from his prom. I love the black and white pics and bold colors in embellishments. Even after a few years, it's still one of my favorite pages. Wish I could say that about all of them! ;)

Anyway, I'll be updating again soon once I have my etsy site up and running. It will feature all sorts of homemade goodies, from fabric & ribbon flowers to anything else I come up with! I'll let you know when it's ready...but in the mean time, it's located at http://simplefrills.etsy.com.

Dream Big,
Amanda
